Common questions
Boosters or routers?
GMTS leads with Peplink routers, external antennas and SIMs. Consumer boosters can help a phone; they do not give you a documented WAN, VLANs or fleet visibility.
How far offshore does cellular work?
It depends on mast height, antenna class and which carrier you can see. We treat cellular as coastal and harbour companion WAN, not a mid-Pacific primary.
Can you retrofit a Starlink-only install?
Yes — many jobs add Peplink and MIMO without replacing a working dish.
Do you provision SIMs for kit we already own?
Yes via the Data SIM application or GMTS Connect for approved dealers.
