BR2 Pro is the dual-modem sibling of BR1 Pro: two 5G radios, two 2.5G Ethernet WANs, Wi-Fi 6, and PoE in so one cable can carry power and data. Use it when a single cellular path is not enough — two carriers, or one carrier plus a second SIM path, without adding a second router.
Description
- Peplink MAX BR2 Pro 5G. Ignition sensing, serial for OOBM, Docker edge compute (8 GB).
- Recommended users 1–150.
- Add a MAX Adapter 5G when you need a third cellular WAN.
Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi 6, 2×2 MU-MIMO, simultaneous dual-band.
- AP and/or Wi-Fi WAN. 2× RP-SMA Wi-Fi connectors.
Modem
- 2× embedded 5G modems, each with redundant SIM slots.
- Nano-SIM, Peplink eSIM, BYO eSIM (2 profiles per modem).
- 8× SMA cellular plus 1× SMA GPS.
Speeds
- Router throughput 1 Gbps.
- SpeedFusion: 400 Mbps unencrypted / 200 Mbps 256-bit AES.
- Cellular max theoretical (per modem): 5G 4.1 Gbps / 900 Mbps; Cat-20 2 Gbps / 211 Mbps. Peak radio rates are not a site guarantee.
- 2× 2.5G Ethernet WAN, 4× gigabit LAN, 1× USB 3.0 WAN.
Power
- DC 10–30 V, passive PoE 48–56 V, 802.3at (25 W from PoE; use the bundled PSU when dual cellular plus USB WAN needs the full 30 W budget).
- 12 W nominal, 30 W max. Operating temperature −40°C to 65°C.
Where it fits
- Vehicles, plant, and marine trays that need two independent 5G paths.
- BR1 Pro 5G if one modem is enough; Transit Duo Pro for dual LTE in a smaller vehicle box.
