Mobile Starlink

Starlink for rural NZ, vehicles and rapid-deploy sites — Roam or Priority, GMount or custom mounts.

Mobile Starlink

Land, not vessel. Roam and Priority on motorhomes, work trucks and rapid-deploy sites — mounts and plans distinct from maritime Flat HP.

Mobile Starlink is a different brief from a vessel. GMTS matches kit, mount and plan class — Roam versus Priority — and bonds cellular for trees, stops and handoff. Rural homes and farms use the same honesty about sky view; vehicles need a mount that survives the road.

What we supply

  • Current kit class: Mini, Standard or higher-performance — we match mobility and sky view
  • Roam or Priority airtime for how you actually travel or sit
  • Mounts: GMount (NZ-made), factory Starlink hardware, or custom brackets
  • Peplink bonding with LTE where trees or motion need a companion path
  • Wi‑Fi and device setup so the dish is part of a network, not an orphan router

Who it is for

  • Rural homes, farms and lodges waiting on fibre that may never arrive
  • Motorhomes, work trucks and mobile businesses
  • Backup internet for sites that cannot pause when the primary link dies

How we deliver

  1. Sky view, cable run and power for the vehicle or site — Roam or Priority, not a vessel kit.
  2. Kit, mount and airtime class specified together. Existing Wi-Fi stays if it is good; Peplink sits in front when you want failover.
  3. InControl is how we watch the Starlink path after we leave. Seasonal pause/plan notes are part of handover, not an afterthought.
  4. Operator training plus the Connect record.

On the move

Roam and Priority — land and vehicle, not a vessel kit.

Mobile Starlink is mounts, power and a router that stays online while you drive. We do not reuse the marine gallery here.

Roam

Vehicles, caravans and seasonal sites that move with the work.

Priority

Sites that need a committed class when Roam is not enough.

Mounts

GMount, factory or custom — specified for the roof and the duty cycle.

Edge

Peplink so Starlink is one WAN, not a competing consumer dish.

FAQ

Common questions

Roam or Priority?

Roam suits travel and seasonal pause. Priority suits sites that need a steadier duty cycle. We match the current Starlink class — we do not print stale Mbps here.

Can I use Starlink while moving?

In-motion use depends on the current Starlink mobile / Roam rules and a mount rated for the vehicle. We will say no if the kit class does not match the brief.

Do you supply GMount?

Yes — NZ-made GMount alongside factory and custom brackets. No separate GMount shop page; it is part of the mobile Starlink brief.

Can I pause service?

Starlink mobile / Roam plans typically allow pause. We note that at handover so seasonal travellers are not paying for a parked kit.

Is installation included?

Professional install is a scoped service. DIY assistance is available when the mount and sky view are straightforward.

Will it work with my existing Wi-Fi?

Yes — we can put Starlink behind Peplink or your existing router instead of running two guest networks.
