Peplink firmware 8.6.1: the fixes, and who should leave 8.5.4
8.6.1 went GA on 30 September 2026. It is the same build as RC 2. If the router is already on 8.5.4 and on the supported list, take 8.6.1. Do not sit on 8.6.0 first. One Dome Synergy Wi-Fi bug is still open.

A+T ATP processors when the H5000 brain is ready to retire
Many refits swap the instrument processor first. The ATP1 replaces H2000, H3000 and H5000 CPUs on the existing sensor wiring, then displays such as QBD7 and HFD5 follow in a later phase.
