- The mount is the part people get wrong. Performance and Standard Gen3 dishes take different mounts, and ordering the wrong one costs a return and a delayed install. The kit removes that decision. The PoE injector means one cable to the dish rather than running mains to the mount position. Install notes
- Budget 75-100 W average for the dish when sizing DC supply. Keep the Ethernet run within spec for the injector, and plan the cable route before drilling — mount position is usually decided by cable access, not by sky view. Add a router
- Most of these go in behind a Peplink B One 5G or a MAX so the Starlink link can be bonded or load-balanced with cellular. Without a multi-WAN router the kit gives you one link and no failover. Also available
