These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern use of the GMTS Group website at gmts.io, quote requests, dealer portal access, and purchases of hardware, software licences, kits, and related services from Global Marine Technology Services Limited (“GMTS”, “we”, “us”).
By using the site or placing an order / quote request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.
1. Who we are

2. Website use
- Content is provided for information about marine, mobile, and enterprise connectivity products and services.
- You must not misuse the site (scraping that harms service, attempting unauthorised access, or uploading malicious code).
- Dealer portal and download areas are for authorised accounts only. Credentials must not be shared.
3. Quotes, orders, and pricing
- Guest shoppers see quote-only flows for many SKUs; displayed amounts (where shown) are indicative and exclude GST unless stated.
- Approved dealers may see Retail and Dealer pricing (excl. GST) subject to account status and currency settings.
- A quote request is not a binding contract until GMTS confirms availability, price, lead time, and payment terms in writing.
- We may correct obvious pricing or catalogue errors and cancel unconfirmed orders affected by those errors.
4. Products and services
- Product descriptions, images, and datasheets are believed accurate but may change; manufacturer specs prevail for RF, power, and compatibility claims.
- Cel-Fi / Nextivity: GMTS is not a certified Cel-Fi partner — we supply hardware and practical guidance only.
- Third-party firmware, apps, and cloud tools (e.g. Starlink, UniFi, UISP, Peplink InControl) remain subject to those vendors’ licences.
- Airtime, SIM, and subscription services follow the relevant carrier or platform terms in addition to these Terms.
5. Delivery, risk, and title
- Delivery methods and timeframes are confirmed on the order / invoice. Risk in goods passes on delivery to the carrier or collection, whichever occurs first, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Title passes when GMTS receives cleared payment in full.
6. Returns and RMA
Returns, DOA, and warranty RMA are described on our Returns & RMA page. Consumer Guarantees Act rights (where you are a consumer under NZ law) are not excluded where they cannot be excluded by law. Business / trade customers may agree different warranties in writing.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, GMTS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, data, or vessel downtime). Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid GMTS for that product or service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).
8. Privacy and cookies
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future use.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
