The A+T SOV speed sensor is a paddlewheel boat speed sensor for use with a shut-off gate valve, and is a replacement for B&G part 202-00-064. Many large superyachts, sail and motor, are built with gate valves so speed and depth sensors can be inserted and removed safely with no water ingress, often to meet class or survey requirements. A+T states it is now the only manufacturer supplying these gate valves and the matching sensors for refits and new builds. This is the standard length version; custom lengths can be built on request.
