The A+T SOV depth sensor is a 170 kHz depth transducer for use with a shut-off gate valve, and is a replacement for B&G part 157-AA-038 for B&G H2000 and H3000 systems and A+T processors. Many large superyachts, sail and motor, are built with gate valves so speed and depth sensors can be inserted and removed safely with no water ingress, often to meet class or survey requirements. A+T states it is now the only manufacturer supplying these gate valves and the matching sensors for refits and new builds. This is the standard length version; custom lengths can be built on request. For NMEA 2000 compatible systems such as H5000, A+T uses its ATBLBD1 depth converter.
