Ruggedised waterproof 5 way Ethernet switch for A+T instrument networks, with power injection, per-port resettable fuses and activity LEDs.

The A+T ATPSW51 is a ruggedised, waterproof 5 way Ethernet switch and junction box used to link the branches of an A+T Ethernet instrument network, such as an ATP2 system. It supports 100BASE-TX at 100 Mbit/s in each direction, with up to five cable glands and blanks supplied for unused entries.

Power rails carry power over the Ethernet cabling and extra power can be injected where displays need it. Units shipped from October 2024 include a relay so that the switch and outputs can be powered from the incoming Ethernet port, from an external supply, or from an external supply switched on and off by the Ethernet low power input. Each port has a resettable fuse and a data activity light, and all cables connect to removable 5.08 mm headers for easy troubleshooting. Size is 80 x 120 x 55 mm plus glands.
