The A+T ATP2 is the distributed version of the ATP processor, intended for new builds and major refits. Rather than bringing every sensor cable back to one location, a single Ethernet cable carrying power runs through the yacht and the interface boxes for wind, speed/sea temperature/depth, analogue and loadcell inputs are mounted close to their sensors. A+T waterproof 5 way network switches join the network branches and can inject extra power for displays.
The processor runs at 2.6 GHz with a 128 GB solid state drive and 4 GB RAM, and calculates at 100 Hz. Built-in interfacing includes Fastnet for existing B&G displays and sensors, an N2K compatible CANbus port, three NMEA0183 inputs and two outputs, one analogue channel, two alarm relays and three Ethernet ports. Integral heel, pitch, rate gyro and barometric sensors support heel compensation and mast motion correction. Configuration, calibration and diagnostics are handled through the webserver, and an integral LCD shows the IP address and status. A+T Instruments is not affiliated with B&G or Navico; B&G product names are used for compatibility reference only.
