The A+T ATP1 is the stand-alone upgrade version of the ATP processor. The processor, a speed/sea temperature/170 kHz depth board and a wind board are housed in a single enclosure, so where the wind, speed, depth and display cables already run to the old processor location the installation is a straightforward swap. There is room in the case for one further interface card, typically a second speed card or an analogue card, and further interface boxes can be added over Ethernet.
The processor runs its navigation calculations at 50 Hz (upgradeable to 100 Hz) and has integral heel/trim and barometric pressure sensors. Built-in interfacing covers Fastnet for existing B&G displays and sensors, one NMEA2000 compatible CANbus port, three NMEA0183 inputs and two outputs, four analogue channels, two alarm relays and three Ethernet ports. All set-up, calibration and diagnostics are done through a webserver from any connected computer or tablet. A+T Instruments is not affiliated with B&G or Navico; B&G product names are used for compatibility reference only.
