The ATPLT Pilot Processor is the core of the A+T autopilot system, designed for racing yachts, superyachts and large cruising and classic yachts. It shares its hardware platform with the ATP2 instrument processor and communicates with the A+T Pilot Control Unit over Ethernet. At least one A+T Pilot Head Display is needed to start and stop the pilot and send steering commands.
The processor can run as a stand-alone pilot or connect to existing systems over A+T Ethernet, Fastnet (B&G H2000, H3000 and WTP2/3), N2K compatible CANbus and NMEA0183. It accepts commands from A+T PHDs, B&G H2000/H3000 pilot displays, N2K pilot controls and compatible plotters, and follow-up or non-follow-up tiller controls. All set-up, calibration and commissioning is done through the webserver, which also allows data logging and remote support from A+T. A+T Instruments is not affiliated with B&G or Navico; B&G product names are used for compatibility reference only.
