The A+T Pilot Control Unit is the drive stage of the modular A+T autopilot. On command from the ATPLT Pilot Processor, linked over Ethernet, it delivers up to 50 A peak to reversible 9-32 V DC motor drives, rotary or hydraulic linear, and provides drive signals for proportional hydraulic valves (+/-10 V or 4-20 mA), constant running hydraulic valves and clutch or brake controlled systems.
The unit takes a rudder feedback sensor (frequency or potentiometer type) and has separate drive and control supplies. Set-up and commissioning of the drive is done through the pilot processor webserver.
