The A+T HFD5 is a 5 inch full colour display designed as a direct drop-in upgrade for the B&G H5000 graphic display, which is no longer in production. It fits the existing 172 x 114 mm footprint and mounting, and takes power and data from the NMEA 2000 compatible CANbus network through the same Micro C connector, drawing 4 LEN (1.4-2.3 W depending on brightness).
The transflective 800 x 480 screen is designed for better viewing in full sunlight and updates at 30 Hz. Panels can show numbers, graphs, analogue dials and bar formats with conditional colouring, and the buttons give full control including system lighting. The unit weighs 610 g, is IP68 rated and each display is tested underwater and in an oven to 75°C.
