The A+T depth module drives a 170 kHz depth transducer, such as the A+T SOV depth sensor or 32 mm housing depth sensor, and outputs depth on NMEA 2000 compatible CANbus and NMEA0183 ($SDDPT and $PATSN sentences). This allows 170 kHz transducers originally used with B&G H2000 and H3000 systems to be used with NMEA 2000 compatible systems; A+T has tested it with B&G H5000.
The module runs on 10.5-32 V and draws 0.75 W (LEN 2). The transmitter delivers more than 375 V peak to peak and the receiver sensitivity is better than 0.1 mV, and a matching transformer allows transducer cable runs of at least 30 m. A+T Instruments is not affiliated with B&G or Navico; B&G product names are used for compatibility reference only.
