A+T BFD 12 inch full colour big format display, CANbus version, with a 1,200 nit screen in the same footprint as a B&G 40/40.

The A+T BFD (Big Format Display) is a 12 inch full colour display for superyachts and large race boats. It has the same footprint as a B&G 40/40 and mounts from the front, but shows digits about 50 % larger. The 263 x 185 mm screen has 1280 x 800 pixels and a 1,200 nit backlight, and it works in portrait or landscape orientation and with polarised sunglasses. Any number of panels and graphics can be configured, with context switching and up to six pages selected by an external button.

This is the CANbus version, which connects over CANbus, N2K compatible (B&G H5000, WTP3, Garmin). The display is fully immersible, rated for working temperatures of 70°C plus, runs on 10-36 V DC (19.6 W at full brightness, 3.0 W at 40 %) and weighs 2,220 g. Overall size is 324 x 212 x 55 mm. A+T Instruments is not affiliated with B&G or Navico; B&G product names are used for compatibility reference only.
