The A+T AT520PC iMHU board adds 6 axis inertial sensors to the A+T 500 series wind sensor electronics. It outputs high speed raw wind data together with motion measured directly at the masthead, allowing the processor to correct wind readings for mast motion. Combined with the fast response of the A+T carbon vane this gives effective motion correction.
A+T states that currently only A+T processors and FaRo Advanced Systems processors can correct wind using this data. A+T lists the board at about 2 weeks from order.
