What we supply

Built in New Zealand for real deployments

GMount started in the marine industry when customers needed a solid mounting and protection solution for Starlink, not a bag thrown over the dish. Today the same panels run on construction sites, trucks, ferries, vessels and buildings across the Pacific.

Designed & made here

Every product is designed, manufactured and packed in New Zealand. Production stays in-house so GMTS keeps control of the quality bar.

Rugged without killing the link

Impact-resistant HDPE shell and UV-stable acrylic top, spray, debris and hands off the dish while satellite lock stays clean.

GMTS on the WAN side

The Hobsonville team that commissions your Peplink router can spec the GMount, magnets and install on the same job.

FAQ

Common questions

What are GMount panels made from?

The base and flange are HDPE boat board — UV-stabilised, low moisture absorption, corrosion resistant and easily cleaned. The protective top is UV-stable acrylic. Fasteners are stainless steel (316 or 304).

What is the IP rating?

Starlink panel tops are sealed to IP67. The reinforced shell is rated IP54 overall; the rear is open by design (a sealed back can be specified). GMount is a protective component — it does not change the Starlink kit’s own environmental rating.

Will GMount block the Starlink signal?

We have measured no attenuation on panels fitted with GMount in the field. The acrylic top is chosen to stay clear enough for satellite lock.

What mounting options are available?

Every model has M6 pre-threaded holes beneath the panel (direct mount, wedge feet included, or magnets ordered separately). Top-down fixing uses four through-holes. Optional rubber-coated N45 magnets: 88 mm (≈44 kg breakaway each, for RV/HP) or 66 mm (≈20 kg breakaway, for RV/Mini). Magnets are not included as standard.

What colours can I order?

Black and white are standard. Polar White, Dolphin Grey, Glacier Grey, Seafoam and Sand Shade are available on some models — custom colours typically need an MOQ of 80–100 units. Re-branding (de-badge) is available on request with a higher MOQ.

What temperature range has GMount been tested to?

RV/Roam and maritime panels have been field-tested from −20 °C to +45 °C in marine use. With the open-back design and acrylic top, they should match the Starlink panel specification of −30 °C to +50 °C.

Are magnets safe on every vehicle roof?

We have road-tested magnet sets to 110 km/h sustained for 60 minutes on NZ highways. Thin bonnets, tailgates and soft roofs can show marks when magnets are removed — match the mount to the surface.
